February 24, 2019 – Rode bike while snowing

I love to ride my bike inside on the trainer while it is snowing outside. I sit on my bike at the front window and watch the snow fall. It’s a peaceful ride. [I watch the TV too. Old CSI, NCIS, NCIS;LA or NCIS:NOLA are my favorite riding shows.]

February 23, 2019 – Charlotte’s bags half done

My plan to mass produce bags is complicated by having two Charlottes. So I started with Charlotte Robinson’s bags. They are half done. I am please how they are turning out.

February 22, 2019 – DeeAnna happy at home

We picked up DeeAnna at Cody Bed and Biscuit. She likes her little trips there, but really loves to come home and chase the birds. And treats. The spoiled dog loves her treats.

February 21, 2019 – Unicorn song, Irish Rovers

Alissa got us tickets to see the Irish Rovers. We went shopping in Billings. Lunch at China Bistro. I got us a room downtown at the Best Western Clocktower. Walking distance to Jake’s and Albert Bair Theater. it was a good show.

February 20, 2019 – Ohio opinion category done

29 entries – done. Sports were already done. Next, online package and online interactive. Nothing like keeping busy. I need to squeeze in some sewing time, and cleaning, dusting, etc.

February 19, 2019 – Four done, two left

Four of the Ohio newspaper are done. Two left, plus the individual categories. I’m planning to finish early so I can have personal time for projects.

February 18, 2019 – Pooh no longer naked

I finished Pooh’s shirt, so he is no longer naked. He doesn’t wear pants. I made the shirt longer than the pattern because I wanted it longer. Pooh is done!

February 17, 2019 – Truex runs poorly, wrecks

Martin Truex Jr’s car just never got running right. To make it worse, he got caught in a big wreck. The rest of the JGR team finished 1-2-3. Still don’t like Denny Hamlin.

February 16, 2019 – Xfinity wrecks many cars

Wreck-fest. So many cars were wrecked in the opening Xfinity race at Daytona. What does this mean for the Cup cars tomorrow? The Big One!

February 15, 2019 – Pooh has a face

Pooh has eyes, eyebrows, and a mouth. The ten cent book has been worth every penny. This has been a fun project.

February 14, 2019 – Pedicures at Davi Nails

We haven’t had pedicures since December 18, 2018. My feet felt to good afterwards. They always do. A Tony foot massage is the best.

February 13, 2019 – Sausage making – part two (2)

In the second part of the sausage class we learned how to make the meat snack sticks and stuff sausages. We will need to practice before we have wild game.

February 12, 2019 – Taco John’s Taco Tuesday

We had our Ole’s today. I like the Taco Bravo, and Warren likes the steak soft shell taco. Ole’s with guacamole. And of course, churros. Another punch towards a free meal.

February 11, 2019 – Learning to make sausage

Powell Valley Continuing Education posted a two day sausage class for spring, so we signed up. Things make sense. We just need to evaluate what equipment we have, and what we need.

February 10, 2019 – NASCAR begins with Clash

Clash or Crash – same thing. Jimmie Johnson claimed he doesn’t need to wreck others to win, but it is what he did.

February 9, 2019 – Back to Cody Wal-Mart

One of the battery chargers didn’t meet the needs, so back to Cody, back to Wal-Mart, again. This was the third trip in three days. At least the drive is pretty.

February 8, 2019 – Seafood buffet at QT’s

We’ve wanted to do the seafood buffet at QT’s, but driving in the dark with the possibility of critters always stopped us. Tonight we did it. It was a nice change. Coconut shrimp, crab legs, lobster mac and cheese. It was well worth watching for night critters.

February 7, 2019 – Temps above zero, slightly

February has definitely been cold. Lows have been below zero, so pink for my blanket. Daily highs are low, very low. The ground hog is pulling a prank. Winter us very much in effect.

February 6, 2019 – Truck won’t start again

Ridiculous! Went to Napa to get a new battery. Garvin should have replaced it already. We bought it there a year ago. Just tired of the crap. So, new battery and a trickle charger. No more problems.

February 5, 2019 – Taking Alissa to Rain

Since Alissa will be home, I asked if she wanted to go see Rain. Heck Yes! I got her the seat next to me. She has already contacted Steve. Paul in Liverpool was jealous she has his contact.

February 4, 2019 – Got tickets for Rain

A chance glance at promotions in my e-mail revealed Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles is coming to Billings in April. I got tickets! And an RV site at the KOA. Can’t wait.

February 3, 2019 – Snow, after my ride

No, my timing wasn’t perfect. I didn’s finish and get inside before the snow started. That’s the benefit of having my bike on a trainer. I can ride whenever, regardless of weather.

February 2, 2019 – Groundhog didn’t see shadow

The groundhog didn’t see his shadow today, which means early spring. As cold as it has been, I’m not sure. We need more snow, I think. We shall see.

February 1, 2019 – Endoscopy shows all well

Warren had his follow-up endoscopy today. Dr. Christensen said everything looked good. Aaron the nurse was great. Warren was a bit loopy from the meds. Slept  a bit both ways to lunch in Cody.

January 31, 2019 – Ears, muzzle, arms, leg

Looking into my Under Armor bag one will find two ears, two arms, a muzzle and one leg. These belong to the Pooh I am attempting to crochet. One more leg to go, and then I begin on the body. I am just nor sure how it all goes together. I guess I will find out.

January 30, 2019 – Home again, home again

Our trip to Wind River Casino in Riverton and the drive to Jackson was fun, but now it’s time to pick up DeeAnna and go home. A short time away was nice. A break before my next judging assignment comes in.

January 29, 2019 – Winter Grand Teton Beauty

We drove from Riverton to Jackson. The Tetons in winter snow are incredible. Also we saw the elk in the National Elk Refuge. Some really big racks.

Too many tourists in Jackson, so we had lunch at DQ. Free cherry Dilly Bars. Yumm!

January 28, 2019 – Saw Golden and Bald

I never get tired of seeing eagles. On the way to Riverton we saw a Golden Eagle and a Bald Eagle. The sight of these magnificent birds makes my heart sing. I so want to take a photo of each.

January 27, 2019 – Played with lunch today

Today we drove to Lovell to have lunch at Minchow’s Food Court. I had super nachos, as I was in the mood to play with my food. A nice short outing for a Sunday.

January 26, 2019 – Washed, Ready to Pack

I did laundry two days early so we can pack on Sunday to go to Wind River Casino in Riverton. We have coupons for $30 rooms. Hope the weather holds. We’re going in the pickup, just in case.
